About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment at West Point Optical LLC. As an Optometric Office Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare patients for examinations, administer tests, and assist doctors during exams
  2. Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients, answering phones, and maintaining Electronic Medical Records
  3. Process insurance claims, handle patient billing, and perform bookkeeping tasks
  4. Assist with ordering glasses and contact lens supplies, and selling glasses and contact lens supplies
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 1-2 years in a retail setting
  • Valid State Driver's License and State Minimum Insurance coverage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
