Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a Patient Care Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the transfer, positioning, and transport of patients in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of operating rooms between cases, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Perform terminal cleaning of surgical areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Maintain adequate supply levels and ensure the organization of all equipment and supplies, promoting a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Assist patients with personal care needs, including urinals, bedpans, and emesis basins, with dignity and respect.
- Contribute to the upkeep of waiting areas, lobbies, utility rooms, and patient care areas, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
