Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Adhere to all operational and merchandise standards, including inventory management, pricing, and product placement.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including ringing sales, handling returns, and counting change.
  • Support the sales floor team by assisting with visual merchandising, restocking shelves, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Participate in store recovery efforts, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Work effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store culture.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

This position has a starting pay range of $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
