Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in a dynamic healthcare setting.

We're looking for experienced Intensive Care Unit RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.

As an ICU Travel Nurse, you'll be responsible for evaluating and monitoring patients, documenting and providing physician-directed care, assessing and implementing patient care plans, and delegating to other care providers as appropriate. You'll also provide education and support to patient families and be prepared to perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Providing basic bedside care.
  • Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medication.
  • Ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests.
  • Monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment.
  • Communicating patients' conditions to family members.

ICU Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds, and moving or lifting of patients may require lifting of up to 50 pounds at times.

Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS, 2 Years

TNAA Job ID #1109115. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
