Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Dietary Manager and Registered Dietitian to develop menus and cater to patient-specific dietary needs.
  • Maintain precise HACCP protocols and monitor food temperatures from delivery to consumption.
  • Ensure adherence to sanitation and food safety standards, including proper use of utensils and gloves.
  • Engage with patients and staff during meal service, providing assistance and serving nutritionally balanced meals.
  • Prepare snacks and nourishment in accordance with resident preferences and medical directives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or a combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Flexibility in working hours and potential overtime may be required. Food Safety/Sanitation certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in food service is preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.
