Seeking a Rheumatologist Clinician Educator

We are seeking a full-time Rheumatologist Clinician Educator to join the Department of Medicine at the Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) in the Bronx, NY.

About the Role

The Division of Rheumatology is an academic practice sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) and supported by the Montefiore Medical Center Rheumatology Fellows. The Practice includes both inpatient and outpatient care, clinical supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Supervise and educate fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Participate in academic activities, including research and education
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology
  • Possess or eligible for a New York State Medical License
  • Ability to speak Spanish highly desired but not required
  • Ultrasound training preferred, but not required
  • Proficient use of Electronic Medical Record System (EMR), such as Epic desired but can be trained
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required but can be trained
