At Norman Regional Health System, we pride ourselves on being a beacon of workplace excellence. Our innovative cardiovascular program is thriving, and we're looking for a skilled Registered Technologist to join our team.

We're moving into a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.

  • Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Echo Accreditation
  • American Association Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Accreditation

Responsibilities:

Job Summary

  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
  • Maintain a sterile environment.

Professional Practice

  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation.
  • Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

  • Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within six months.
  • Meet all departmental competencies within six months.

Education and Experience

  • Graduate of a 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent.
  • Eligible for and/or hold ARRT registration.
  • Previous Procedural Area experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on experience. This role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care within our innovative cardiovascular program. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you'll be responsible for preparing equipment, assessing patient conditions, and maintaining sterile environments while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. Certification in advanced life support and ongoing training in radiologic technology are required for this role.
