In this role, you will collaborate extensively with teams across IP, SoC Design, Package Design, Signal Integrity, and Systems, while also engaging with prominent global technology partners.
As we innovate new system-level solutions for our premier Arm IP ecosystems, the challenges surrounding signal and power integrity continue to grow. This necessitates a dedicated engineering approach to equip Arm and our partners with the best strategies to tackle these issues. This position will emphasize enhancements in both active and passive power delivery, as well as signal routing techniques for optimal performance in cutting-edge packaging technologies and semiconductor processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with design and package teams to offer expertise on active and passive power integrity solutions aimed at minimizing IR drop and SSO noise.
· Advise package and PCB design teams on critical signal integrity factors.
· Engage with external partners to provide insights on effective signal and power delivery network management, accommodating global time zones as necessary.
· Create power delivery network solutions tailored for infrastructure-level, automotive, and battery-operated systems.
· Conduct signal and power integrity simulations and analyze results for both internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, with a robust background in computer architecture, signal, and power integrity.
· Extensive experience in performance modeling and analysis of SoC systems, focusing on signal and power integrity.
· In-depth knowledge of multi-port matrices (S, Y, Z parameters).
· Strong understanding of electromagnetic extraction methods and their limitations.
· Proficient in signal and power integrity analysis tools such as HSPICE, HFSS, SI-Wave, PowerSI, and Clarity.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the design and operation of voltage regulators.
· Familiarity with navigating package and PCB designs.
· Exceptional interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
Compensation:Salary Range: From $195,542 to $264,557. At Arm, we recognize the individuality of our employees and are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation based on the skills and experience they contribute.
