Dietitian Nutritionist I

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with experience working in an acute care setting. They will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients with various conditions, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and renal disease.

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients with various conditions
• Work independently and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient information in an electronic health record
• Speak Spanish is preferred
• Licensure in Florida is required before the start date

• Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in FL is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills and ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
