Position Summary
This role involves delivering direct patient care activities, which encompass assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to established nursing care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates patient and family-centered care within a supportive environment. Provides education to patients and their families regarding illness management, including home care requirements and medication administration.
- Engages in initiatives that enhance patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Actively participates in professional growth and development.
- Creates, executes, and documents personalized care plans with specific objectives in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient, family, or caregiver, in accordance with established nursing guidelines.
- Employs critical nursing skills to assess and address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, ensuring alignment with care standards. Evaluates patient preferences and barriers to engagement in care, considering their values and specific needs.
- This position is recognized as safety-sensitive, necessitating a constant state of alertness and adherence to safe practices.
Education
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- No prior experience required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Less than 2 years of nursing experience
