Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery Travel Assignment

TLC Nursing is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Labor and Delivery. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery, you will provide skilled nursing care to clients under an established Physician Plan of Treatment. You will be responsible for observing and assessing client and family circumstances, communicating changes and needs to the physician and Nursing Supervisor, and initiating preventive, rehabilitative, and therapeutic nursing measures.

Requirements:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid current nursing license under the State Board of Nursing
  • Must have a minimum of one year experience in an acute care setting
  • Must possess and maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification
  • Must be of mature and responsible character
  • Must possess current knowledge of the disease process; emergency interventions and health care measures pertinent for each individual client
  • Must possess good observational nursing judgment and effective communication skills
  • Must be of good physical and mental health
