Your skills and experience will make a difference in the lives of our patients every day.", "Responsibilities": "As a nurse at Cadia Healthcare, your responsibilities will include:
* Directing the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility
* Meeting with assigned nursing assistants to give a nursing report on assigned residents and reviewing 24-hour summary reports in the electronic medical record on assigned residents
* Performing administrative duties, such as completing medical forms, evaluations, observations, events, and appropriate documentation for all assigned residents
* Ensuring all medications and treatments have been signed off prior to the end of the assigned shift and updating the nursing supervisor on resident changes in condition
* Receiving telephone orders from physicians, transcribing orders, and recording in the electronic health record, and preparing and administering medications and treatments as ordered by the provider
* Informing nursing staff of new admissions, their expected time of arrival, room assignment, etc., and ensuring that rooms are ready for new admissions, greeting residents upon admission, and escorting them to their rooms as necessary
* Making rounds with providers as necessary and making periodic checks to ensure resident care is being completed by CNA/GNA and evaluating resident status
* Ensuring that your nurse's notes reflect that the care plan is being followed when administering nursing care or treatment and reviewing care plans for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches, and revisions based on nursing needs.
