Senior Principal Engineer - Expert in Spray Drying and Powder Processing

Position Summary:
In the role of Senior Principal Engineer focusing on Powder Processing and Spray Drying at Abbott Nutrition, you will be instrumental in pioneering and executing innovative enhancements to our manufacturing technologies. This position encompasses strategic planning, collaboration with suppliers, technical leadership, and mentoring initiatives to ensure the successful execution of medium- to large-scale projects across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement technology roadmaps to advance global discipline strategies.
  • Recognize emerging trends and propose solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with suppliers.
  • Offer technical assistance to the production network and third-party manufacturers.
  • Lead Front End Planning efforts on concurrent projects.
  • Guide and mentor colleagues by sharing your technical knowledge and providing support.
  • Create internal regulations and standards for discipline-specific areas.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of pertinent experience in industrial-scale powder spray drying.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience managing large capital projects with design responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with cGMPs, EHEDGE, and international sanitary regulations.
  • Proficient in plant control software and CAD systems.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $102,700 and $205,000 annually, subject to variations based on location.
