Hilo Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team as a Traveling Radiologic Technologist. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a radiologic technologist.
- Knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment, including digital radiography systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR.
- Ability to travel to various locations, including islands, as required.
