Position Overview:
Effectively conducts standard and advanced imaging procedures to generate high-quality diagnostic images for healthcare professionals, aiding in the assessment, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of medical conditions.
Operates autonomously, applying sound judgment and refined clinical skills to perform safe and accurate imaging techniques, ensuring timely delivery of results.
Establishes trust and collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members through proficient patient evaluation, vigilant monitoring, and clear communication.
Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain patient privacy and safety while providing exceptional care. May also take on the responsibility of conducting specific imaging procedures and assisting in the orientation of new staff members within the department.Job Description:
EDUCATION:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and proof of application for CRT (employment cannot commence until CRT is verified online)
OR CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist (from the state of practice)
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Comprehensive understanding of diagnostic imaging principles, techniques, and equipment, including experience in responding to emergencies and trauma situations.
Capable of executing routine imaging examinations and possessing a foundational knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and operate within established protocols and scientific methods to meet objectives and deadlines.
Familiarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and relevant information systems (Radiology Information System (RIS), Laboratory Information System (LIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), EPIC, and Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS).
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Skilled in identifying, assessing, and resolving standard issues by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
Ensures the confidentiality of each patient's protected health information (PHI).
Fosters collaborative relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Pay Range is $44.04 to $55.04 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
