Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Part-Time Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT imaging to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
In this meticulous and patient-centered role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting general CT examinations efficiently and thoroughly.
- Administering IV contrast as needed, with training provided for those who require it.
- Linking clinical history to the imaging procedures performed.
- Ensuring all examinations are accompanied by accurate clinical and demographic data, along with high-quality images.
- Providing outstanding patient care and support.
- Collaborating with radiologists, fellow technologists, and administrative staff as necessary.
- Following established safety protocols diligently.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- ARRT Certification.
- Licensure in the state of New York.
- Certification to administer injections or a willingness to undergo training.
- A strong commitment to quality patient care and exceptional service.
- Excellent communication skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues, radiologists, referring physicians, and patients.
- A detail-oriented approach to work.
