Job OpportunityOSP Children's Therapy Center LLC is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary pediatric clinic, you will provide occupational therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate occupational therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect patients' age and situation, including discharge plans.
  • Revise treatment plans based on patient progress towards stated goals.
  • Ensure complete, timely, and accurate documentation in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities to achieve best practices.
  • Participate in department, organization, or network activities to achieve established objectives.
  • Uphold OSP Organizational Values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Experience in pediatric outpatient settings and/or completion of level 2 fieldwork in an outpatient pediatric setting.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as an occupational therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for occupational therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
  • Ability to assess and interact with patients and families using theories of human growth and development, family systems, and cultural background.
  • Computer proficiency, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

  • Ability to anticipate challenges and develop strategies for addressing them.
