Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Express Employment Professionals of Hawaii. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and providing support to other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries, reports, and schedules
  • Train and assist new personnel
  • Address inquiries regarding payroll from employees and supervisors
  • Provide support to other tasks as requested
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 2 years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting duties
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable vehicle
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Knowledge of HR Symphony or related payroll systems
  • Experience in using accounting software
  • Frequently moving and lifting up to 20lbs over short distances
