Swtest is in search of an innovative leader to manage the IT Platform Engineering teams focused on Storage and Cloud solutions.
Our initiatives in robotics and artificial intelligence are fundamentally supported by extensive, high-performance storage infrastructures and the strategic application of cloud computing and SaaS offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing and mentoring the IT Platform teams specializing in Storage and Cloud.
- Engaging with various teams and stakeholders to formulate and execute storage and cloud strategies that meet Swtest's operational, scalability, and reliability needs.
- Promoting the development and achievements of team members while overseeing a range of strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Regularly evaluating priorities to guarantee timely and cost-effective project execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity managing technical teams.
- Expertise in incident management and operations with an emphasis on delivering highly available services at scale.
- Experience managing large-scale cloud services.
- Strong project management skills and organizational capabilities, with excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in high-performance computing.
- Familiarity with GPU and/or AI workloads.
- Experience with object and distributed storage systems such as S3, Lustre/FSX, and Ceph.
Compensation Overview:
The compensation package for this position consists of three primary components: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Swtest Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this role is between $179,000 and $299,000, along with potential sign-on bonuses. The specific compensation is influenced by location and level, taking into account factors such as experience, domain expertise, and interview performance. The stated salary range reflects the levels being considered for this role.
