Main Responsibilities

As a Fuel Farm Mechanic at Menzies Aviation, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with fuel equipment, performing repairs and maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fuel storage and distribution systems.

Key Accountabilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with fuel equipment using test equipment, statistics, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on fuel equipment, including pumps, valves, vessels, and hydrant pits.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Support the Gauger position as needed.
  • Comply with attendance policies and work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of related experience or training preferred.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests, including a drug test.
  • Capable of safely lifting up to 70 pounds continuously.
  • Proficient in English language, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variable situations.
  • Current driver's license with no violations over the past 5 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and customs badges/seals.
