Medical Imaging Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Ascension's Radiology department. As a Diagnostic Sonography Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating patients for peripheral vascular disease and performing sonographic procedures to diagnose and treat various conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients for presence of peripheral vascular disease using effective sonographic procedures.
- Maintain adequate supplies and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
- Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms and storage areas.
Requirements:
- CARDIAC DIAGNOSTIC TECH SPECIALIZING IN VASCULAR INTERPRETATION credentialed from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
- RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST specializing in Sonography credentialed from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
