Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly inspect properties to ensure compliance with safety, industry, and regulatory standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and economic data to inform marketing and leasing strategies, achieving occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Manage resident retention, responding to service issues in a timely manner and monitoring resident satisfaction.
  • Oversee requests for repairs and maintenance, ensuring prompt responses to resident requests and verifying the status of vacant units.
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers to develop operating income/expense budgets, reflecting owners' objectives and cash flow requirements.
  • Prepare property operational and financial reports, reviewing monthly income and expense reports and reporting on variances from budget.
  • Hire, train, supervise, develop, and mentor property team members.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of prior property management experience.
  • Ability to travel for company-required training and business.
  • Intermediate MS Office Word/Excel and computer technology skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong, professional communication and presentation skills.
  • A positive, motivating, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and customers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or management.
  • Background in Accounting/Finance CAM/Licensed Property Manager.
  • Yardi experience is a plus.

Work Schedule: Generally 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with weekends possible if needed to meet business needs.
