Position Overview:
As an ICU Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
  • Assessing and planning nursing care for assigned patients
  • Assisting physicians during examinations and medical procedures
  • Conducting various patient tests and administering medications within the registered nurse's scope of practice
  • Encouraging patient independence by setting care goals and educating patients and their families about conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
  • Utilizing your experience and judgment to achieve care objectives

This position typically involves a schedule of three 12-hour shifts with varying days.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • An active NM Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Compact RN License
  • An Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
  • A minimum of one year of experience in an ICU setting
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
