Job SummaryAs an HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will ensure all systems are functioning efficiently, providing top-tier service and expertise in every task.
Key Responsibilities- Identify repair and replacement needs for HVAC systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Operate and troubleshoot complex utility systems, including HVAC, Cold/Warm Rooms, MV and LV electrical distribution, control systems, compressed gases, and more, with minimal supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate with clients about work progress and concerns.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on larger projects, ensuring tools and materials are ready at job sites.
- Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technologies and adhere to all safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of HVAC experience.
- EPA Universal CFC Certification preferred.
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License preferred.
- Expertise in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and customer service abilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work rotating 12-hour days or 8-hour days with weekend coverage.
