Millennium Therapy is a patient-focused, therapist-owned, and therapist-managed company operating throughout Iowa. We provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings, with a local home office offering quick support to our associates.
Salary Range: $23-$30 per hour (negotiable)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Oskaloosa, IA for the Skilled Nursing setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of screens, collecting assessment data, and providing direct treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct resident screens as directed by the supervising therapist
- Participate in the clinical team process and contribute to program development
- Provide teaching and training to caregiver staff
- Collect assessment data as part of the evaluation process
- Prepare treatment materials and assist with clerical duties as directed
Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an APTA accredited program and Professional Licensure in the state of hire or eligibility for licensure in states that regulate the Physical Therapy Assistant
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
