Hospice of Davidson County is an accredited leader in hospice care, providing expert services to patients and families in our community. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to those in need.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to hospice patients, working collaboratively with our medical director, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on nursing care to patients and emotional support to families as needed
  • Evaluate patient needs, symptoms, and total condition to report accurately to physicians and other healthcare personnel
  • Contact primary care physicians and/or Hospice Medical Director as needed regarding physician's orders for care plans
  • Maintain accurate records of hospice patient/family care services per policy
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Associate degree or nursing school diploma
  • Licensed as a registered nurse in North Carolina
  • Certified to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Minimum of two years nursing experience (preferred)

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $94,520 - $99,264, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a 25% agency placement fee. Weekend night shift differentials apply, and we provide on-call nursing services and commit to one 6-hour shift per month as shifts are available.
