About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Leader to join our team at Taziki's Cafe. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Lead by example, embodying our company values and culture, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, providing feedback, coaching, and training to ensure staff members are equipped to meet their roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records, including sales data, inventory levels, and employee performance metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospitality or restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving operational efficiency, and driving sales growth.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, business, or a related field preferred.
