Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to work per diem shifts in our Emergency Department at Woodland Hills. As an Emergency Department Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and efficient care delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of six months of recent experience in Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing is required, with successful completion of a KP ED training program or approved equivalent within the prior 12 months. You must also hold a current Registered Nurse License in California and possess certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This estimate includes a base salary range of $68,000 - $90,000 per year, plus a shift differential of $10,000 - $20,000 per year for per diem shifts.

This position will be based at our Woodland Hills facility, located in beautiful Southern California.
