Intensive Care Nurse Specialist

Job Summary and QualificationsAn Emergency Department Registered Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, assessing patients, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Perform initial and ongoing assessments to identify patient needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to refine and achieve plans of care
- Monitor patients' physical, emotional, and social needs
To be successful as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you should possess a passion for delivering patient-centered care and have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices.
Qualifications:- 1 year of ED RN experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program or current enrollment in an Alternate Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program or higher level education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – preferred
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) OR Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification per St. David's Healthcare policy required within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) OR Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification – preferred
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification – preferred

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
