Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by greeting them warmly and providing assistance as needed.
    • Manage wheelchair distribution and provide security escorts as requested.
  • Crisis Prevention and Intervention
    • Ensure fire zone areas are clear of excessive traffic or unattended vehicles and patrol premises to ensure security.
    • Issue parking violation tickets as necessary and provide investigative services by writing incident reports.
    • Apply crisis prevention and intervention techniques to de-escalate situations.
    • Respond to and provide security dispatch for hospital emergencies, including codes, community disasters, and severe weather warnings.
    • Work closely with security services to initiate the use of the boot for chronic parking violators.
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
