We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to fill the role of Director of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at HealthcareSource Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations in all areas of Interventional Cardiology, providing strategic direction, and leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the clinical operations in all areas of Interventional Cardiology, including percutaneous valve interventions, mechanical ventricular support, and high-risk coronary therapies.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of clinical and operational goals.
- Collaborate with cardiac and vascular surgeons, as well as other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital leadership, faculty practice organizations, and research institutes to ensure the success of the Cardiovascular Intervention and Cardiac Catheterization program.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in Interventional Cardiology, and implement best practices in the clinical setting.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- MD or MD/PhD with active board certifications in Internal Medicine and Interventional Cardiology.
- Academic credentials for a faculty appointment at the level of Associate/Full Professor.
- Experience in managing clinical operations in a successful, recognized cardiology program.
- Strong belief in a multidisciplinary approach to cardiac care.
- Demonstrated record of excellence in clinical care, education, research, and administration.
- Experience working with leadership of hospitals, faculty practice organizations, research institutes, or other mission-critical institutions.
