Dishroom Assistant

Job Summary:

This is a part-time position that involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dishrooms. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
