About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist. As an AAC Specialist, you will work with individuals with complex communication needs, providing expert assessment, treatment, and support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop individualized AAC plans for clients with complex communication needs
  • Provide expert AAC therapy and support to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AAC research, technologies, and best practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of AAC programs and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (or eligible for certification)
  • NJ DOE certification (or eligible for certification)
  • PA Speech Language Pathology License (or eligible for licensure)
  • NJ Speech Language Pathology License (or eligible for licensure)
  • Experience working with individuals with complex communication needs
  • Strong knowledge of AAC principles, methods, and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
