About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As an RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Special Procedures, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care and outcomes.

Job Summary
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure high-quality, efficient treatment in your unit.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications according to physician orders.
  • Provide leadership to your nursing team during designated shifts.
Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Evaluating patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
  2. Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  3. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
  4. Fostering a positive, supportive environment for patients and staff.
  5. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to promote excellent patient care.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
  • Nursing Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, CPI.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
  • Skills: Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
