As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, you will provide essential clinical expertise to guarantee that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a surgical setting. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we are looking for a remarkable individual who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgery.
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Maintain and update patient records, including test results and examinations.
- Administer medications according to physician directives.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within a specified timeframe.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
- Prior experience in an acute care environment is highly preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and effective communication skills are essential, along with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and proficiency in PC skills.
