About the Role

As a CBRE Facilities Supervisor, you will oversee the team responsible for coordinating with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure work orders are completed efficiently.

This position is part of the Facilities Management functional area, which focuses on all aspects of asset operations, providing support to Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Act as the point of contact for escalated communications between landlords, tenants, and service providers, ensuring all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are understood and implemented.
  • Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and review data from work order reports to create and present performance and progress status reports to management.
  • Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building, conduct market research to compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors, and keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses.
  • Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives, and may establish new techniques to ensure the team meets its objectives.
  • Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives and lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience, prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
  • Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information, expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and exceptional math skills.
