We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Wythe County Public Schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students with special needs, providing individualized instruction and support.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Virginia License to teach with specific endorsements in Special Education Pre-K -12 General Curriculum and/or Special Education Adapted Curriculum K-12.
- Knowledge and skills in assigned instructional areas.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and learning processes.
- Professional and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, school personnel, parents, and community members.
