About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work as part of our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team. You will be responsible for performing complex nuclear medicine procedures, including positron emission tomography (PET) scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including PET scanners, gamma cameras, and computer systems.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, oncologists, and surgeons, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct quality control checks on imaging equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid ARRT (N) certification or NMTCB registration.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to follow established protocols and procedures.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a busy hospital environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.
