The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages to patrons, ensuring a clean and organized bar area, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Receive orders from guests and waitstaff, and prepare and serve drinks accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
- Ensure that fruit and other garnishes are prepared ahead of time to meet customer demand.
- Use proper judgment when serving guests, including checking photo IDs to ensure they are of legal drinking age.
- Collect money from guests for drinks prepared and served.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place orders accurately.
- Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
- At least one year of related experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
