Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food and food-related products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections and report any safety issues or repairs required.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and verify delivery of items with customers.
Requirements
  • 6 months commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL A
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
