Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Driver, Dedicated Backhaul to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to pick up and deliver food and non-food products to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on assigned routes to pick up and deliver loads of food and non-food products
  • Perform load and paperwork inspections, including product counts and quality checks
  • Check and complete all required paperwork associated with backhaul operations
  • Secure all equipment and complete necessary paperwork at the end of each shift
Requirements
  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight
