Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Assess patient needs and conditions by gathering relevant health information.
    • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to achieve expected outcomes.
    • Monitor patient progress and revise plans as necessary.
    • Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while respecting patient privacy and dignity.
  • Education
    • Participate in creating a learning environment supported by evidence-based practice and research.
    • Engage in professional interactions with peers and students.
    • Collaborate with peers and other healthcare providers to provide education and training.
  • Compliance/Safety
    • Adhere to regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety.
    • Participate in quality initiatives and monitor quality metrics.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education
    • RNs: Must graduate from a BSN program within 6 years from date of hire.
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Associate or Technical degree required.
  • Certification & Licensures
    • Proof of good standing with National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
    • Active, unrestricted, Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license.
  • Experience
    • In-depth knowledge of clinical techniques, applications, and equipment.
    • Minimum 1 year of independent PICC insertions or completion of PICC training course.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vascular Access Specialist VA-BC certification.
  • NRP, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
