Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at American Family Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner
  • Perform triage tasks, including collecting patient information and vital signs
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and policies
  • Position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, practicing ALARA radiation protection techniques
  • Process images, review for quality control, and prepare images for reading by physicians and radiologists
  • Aid physicians with patient treatments, as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment
Qualifications

We require an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training. ARRT-registered or board eligible is preferred. Licensed per state regulation, with additional certifications such as Medical Assistant or Practical Nursing License acceptable in some states.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $30.00.
