POSITION TITLE:
CONCESSIONS ATTENDANT
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Concessions Attendant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include warmly greeting patrons, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring a pleasant experience. You will be tasked with operating and reconciling a cash register, accurately processing orders, and fulfilling them as required. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and maintenance of concession stands, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized. A fast-paced environment is expected, and you will report directly to the Concessions Supervisors and Managers.
This position is part-time and seasonal, with a commitment to work during various events throughout the year, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process sales transactions by entering orders and completing payments.
- Maintain inventory levels and communicate with Supervisors regarding low stock items.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any concerns.
- Ensure a clean and orderly workspace, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning of utensils.
- Serve beverages responsibly, including verifying the age of guests purchasing alcoholic drinks in compliance with regulations.
- Uphold sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas.
- Comply with AEG Policies and Procedures.
- Represent AEG professionally in all interactions.
- Adapt to workload demands as necessary.
- Exhibit effective time management and prioritize tasks efficiently.
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each responsibility effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Experience in the food service industry is advantageous.
- Prior experience handling cash is preferred.
- Ability to learn cash handling procedures and operate a cash register.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive demeanor when interacting with colleagues, management, and guests.
