Early Childhood Speech Pathologist Opportunity

Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency dedicated to providing high-quality services to children from birth to 5 years old. We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as an Early Childhood Speech Pathologist in our center-based toddler group in E. Syracuse, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized Speech-Language therapy services to developmentally delayed children in our center-based toddler group.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans, including setting and working towards developmental goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and education with parents to support carryover across settings.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to support IFSP goals and objectives.
  • Complete session notes and progress reports as required.
  • Collaborate with the center-based Toddler Group team to plan speech and oral motor activities.
  • Modify and implement activities within the Toddler Group setting to facilitate speech-language development.
  • Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral, M.A., or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • NYS License in Speech-Language Pathology (or CF eligible).
  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload.
