Job Summary:
As a Sterile Processing Supervisor at Medical City Alliance, you will oversee the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and instruments. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy and completion of instrument trays, maintaining sterilization log books, and supervising sterile processing technicians. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and collaborate with the Surgical Coordinator to manage inventory and ordering of supplies. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Sets up and maintains instrument trays for minor and major surgical procedures.2. Ensures accurate records of all sterilization procedures and notifies the OR Director if any variances are noted or suspected.3. Organizes instruments, equipment, and supplies for efficient access.4. Applies safety procedures, universal precautions, and principles of asepsis in all actions.5. Coordinates with other departments to ensure seamless operations.6. Collaborates with the Surgical Coordinator to manage inventory and ordering of supplies.7. Develops and maintains instrument inventory records and count sheets.8. Participates in call rotation coverage for sterile processing.9. Uses Meditech automation system to perform order entry, communications, and to keep abreast of department information.10. Maintains awareness of own limitations, seeks guidance from appropriate coworkers, and does not accept inappropriate delegated assignments.11. Alerts for errors in own or others' work and participates in corrective actions.12. Maintains proficiency in own job duties and cross-trains to other duties as appropriate.

Requirements:
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification- Experience as a supervisor in a surgical environment preferred- Certification in an accredited sterile processing program- Knowledge of specialized instruments, equipment, and supplies used in sterile processing- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Estimated Salary: $64,000 - $84,000 per year, based on location and experience
