The Job Description
As a Team Leader and Operational Manager, you will be responsible for leading our restaurant team in successful day-to-day operations. This includes properly training and developing Crew, Hourly Managers, and Apprentices.
Responsibilities include coaching and counseling employees on a timely basis, making decisions on promotions and terminations of employees, and taking the appropriate action. You will also identify talent, interview, and hire new Crew.
You will be responsible for fostering an environment of teamwork and successfully communicating company changes/focus to the team. Additionally, you will ensure that employees are paid properly and receive appropriate benefits.
A key responsibility will be building sales and managing the restaurant budget. You will compile, prepare, and maintain P&L statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to food, beverage, and labor goals.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant management experience is required, as well as experience as a Chipotle Apprentice.
