Role Summary: We are in search of a skilled musician dedicated to enhancing the worship experience through music. The Liturgical Music Specialist will play a vital role in supporting choir and solo music performances, thereby enriching the worship environment for the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide musical accompaniment for choir and solo performances to foster a cohesive worship experience.
  • Work closely with the worship leader to modify tempo and style of music to encourage active participation from the congregation.
  • Design and implement a plan for Catholic music presentations during worship services.
  • Deliver musical support for various services and events, ensuring a melodious experience for attendees.
  • Perform preludes, postludes, and necessary hymns during services.
  • Be punctual for rehearsals, services, and special events.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in playing specific instruments (Piano/Keyboard/Organ) and proficiency in reading music is required.
  • Prior experience in musical performance within religious settings is essential.
  • Familiarity with military culture and ministry is beneficial.
  • Understanding the distinct characteristics of a military chapel community is an advantage.
