Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a full-service small animal veterinary hospital, we offer a wide range of services in a single location.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including discharging patients, filling prescriptions, and assisting with surgical and dental procedures.
- Assist with emergency services, including CPR and unaided catheterization/intubation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff members.
- Work with or without direct supervision and adapt to different needs and preferences of different doctors.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of hospital procedures and operating instructions.
- Ability to safely lift objects or pets of at least 50lbs.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Short Term Disability paid for by employer.
