Job Overview

Corthell Transportation, a family-owned long-haul trucking enterprise, is focused on Heavy Haul and Over-dimensional freight that necessitates specialized equipment. We are currently seeking seasoned drivers to enhance our workforce.

Specialization

Our primary emphasis is on Oversize and Overweight freight, along with extended stretch loads. Each driver is adept in this niche area of freight transport, and our fleet is equipped to handle a variety of loads, ranging from standard legal weights to those exceeding 100,000 lbs. Our trailers vary in length from 15' to over 55' to meet the distinct requirements of our clients. Additionally, we operate long-haul winch trucks, and experience in this area is highly valued.

Compensation Package

Driver Compensation:

  • Annual Salary: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00
  • Potential earnings exceeding $100k based on experience
  • Daily Per Diem
  • Reimbursement of up to $1500 for orientation-related expenses (including flights, gas, and accommodations)
  • Orientation & Training Pay
Additional Benefits

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Class A CDL
  • 3 years of commercial driving experience
  • 2 years of Multi-Axle driving experience
  • 2 years of Winch Truck or Oilfield experience (for Winch Truck position)
  • TWIC Card (preferred)

Ideal Candidates Will Also Possess:

  • Experience with stretch trailers and multi-axle step and RGN trailers
  • Machine operating skills for loading and unloading
  • Understanding of state weight regulations
  • Knowledge of state laws regarding oversize loads and pilot car requirements
